Pros: Very cute shop with changing pop up theme. Currently Pokémon themed and I was excited to see it. The Pokémon menu isn't released until Friday so I was a little bummed but I got a Japanese strawberry milk which I enjoyed. Service was kind and courteous. They have free play arcade games which I really enjoyed! Cons: It's pretty small. I would not come here on a weekend or when it is super busy. Not sure it would be worth waiting in line. Also my drink was almost $7 which seemed a bit pricy for strawberry milk.

This place has different themes that are reflected on its food menu. I suggest coming on the weekdays instead of the weekend as there are long lines to get in. It does get packed inside but there are a few spots to sit and hang out. The themes make it super cute inside which I adore and the theme at the time was based on the anime, Demon Slayer! Food items: Blood demon art - You can choose your choice of ice cream. I chose strawberry ice cream with the taiyaki that was delicious and sweet! Dango - The dango was super chewy and I had a hard time eating it at first. However, it's pretty simple and good if you like chewy textures. Drink item: Breath of love - Lychee cherry with blossom soda. It was okay and tasted like those peach, fizzy drinks you would get at local grocery stores. The aroma from the drink was definitely enticing though. Overall if you like themed decor and sweet treats, I would suggest this place!

There was something really special about seeing generations of fans enjoying this theme. The decor is always immersive and recognizing pieces from previous cafés felt like a personal Easter egg. The interior feels like stepping into Bulma's lab, but streamlined and modern. It gives an open concept type feel with personal touches that won't fail to evoke further nostalgia. And as always, staff is as engaged and enthusiastic to provide their very best. I've been here enough times that the menu is rarely a surprise, but this might be my favorite incarnation because of the equal quality and simplicity. You don't grow up in Alief and not have wonton noodles of any kind. Shrimp wouldn't be my first choice, but a savory, clear broth with a duo of fresh vegetables, Chinese broccoli and mushrooms, in a Saiyan sized portion is impossible to deny. It's also called Shenron's Noods, what's not to love? Paired with the aptly named Spirit Bomb, a color changing sip of coconut curacao and butterfly ocean, you're guaranteed to have a really satisfying lunch. The Kamehame Cafe ends June 23rd, so gather your strongest fighters and have a blast.

03.19.2024 - Made it to PopFancy in Houston Texas - what a cute place - tried their Lychee Cherry Blossom Breath of Love - so refreshing and delicious. The drink brings you to a place to imagine walking under cherry blossoms in the spring time. The drink is so pretty and elegant. It was very refreshing and crisp. Walking into Popfancy was also an experience. The decor was all in Anime and I recall that week we went in was a Demon Slayer theme. I take it that they change themes on a regular basis. I recall on the phone that they get pretty packed on the weekends that you will need to reserve. It depends on the demand and popularity of the time. Their handcrafted sodas are very impressive. In all honesty, the shopping strip has other drinks to try like Boba next door. I didn't want to try boba drinks since I know I can get that anywhere. But handcrafted sodas is different. I wanted to leave Houston saying that I tried something new. No regrets. This was an experience.
